The Group Interactive Network System, also known as the GIN system is an application that allows organizations, whether academic or social, a simple communication solution. It has several tools that allow master programs, student organizations, non-profit organizations, and even athletic associations to keep all members well informed. A very important feature of the GIN system is that it incorporates Facebook so members can receive all the updates, whether it is announcements, files or discussions, using their Facebook accounts. Some of the GIN system tools include; unlimited email/text messaging groups, an online calendar with an automatic reminder aspect, online member directory, online surveys, event signups, discussion boards, and most importantly a who’s in my classes feature. My sorority uses this application to keep its members posted about upcoming events and fundraisers going on. College life is extremely busy, and I can only imagine master’s programs. My favorite feature about this application is the ability for members to post their class schedule so that you can find out who else is in your classes. Because LSU is such a large university, and my sorority is such a large organization, I find that this is an extremely beneficial program.
I never heard of Gin before but it sounds like a good aps for learning. Great gob
